He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving from October, 1954 to August, 1958. Jerry worked in Sales for Bucyrus Erie, Northwest Engineering and Terex before retiring from MD Moody. He was an avid golfer and boater. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with family.
Surviving Jerry are two daughters, Julee Nall (Larry) of Franklin, TN and Kelley Kempf (Ron) of Evansville; his former wife and mother of his children, Sharon Scott; grandchildren, Ronnie (Leslie) Kempf and Jeremy (Jenna) Kempf, Keely Nall White and Katee Nall and great grandchildren, Cooper, Lucy and Oliver Kempf, Lindy and Kalvin Kempf.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his sister, Darlene Goins, her brother, Kenny Williams and a great granddaughter, Sydney Kempf.
Services will begin at 1:00 P.M. Saturday. June 1, 2019 at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Gene Backes officiating, burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
