Funeral services for Lillian Castro, 13, of Giddings, her sister, Daniela “Dani” Castro, 3, of Giddings and her cousins, Trenton “Trent” Wright, 7, of Giddings and Sabien Castro, 2, of Giddings are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the Giddings High School Gymnasium with Pastor Jack Gilmore officiating. A procession will follow to the Lexington Cemetery for the burial of Trent, and then the procession will return to the Giddings City Cemetery for the burial of Lillian, Dani, and Sabien. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.

Lillian Elizabeth Castro entered this world on March 30, 2006 in Austin, Texas. She was going to be entering the eighth grade at Giddings Middle School this fall. Lillian loved art and taking art classes at school. She enjoyed playing soccer and was the goalie for her LC United team. She was a huge fan of Harley Quinn. Lillian had an outgoing personality and could easily be described as a firecracker. Most importantly, she loved her sister Dani and was always looking after her.

Lillian passed away the evening of Wednesday, June 5, 2019 as the result of a car accident, along with her sister Dani and her two cousins, Trent and Sabien.

Lillian is survived by her mother, Christy “Annie” Castro of Giddings; her brother, Eduardo Garcia III of Giddings; her grandparents, Juan & Juana Castro of Giddings; her uncles and aunts, Juan Julio & Abby Castro of San Antonio, Jessica & Michael Bock of Giddings, Chriselda “Chrissy” Castro of Giddings, and Juan Jayme Castro & Erin Fitzgerald of Giddings, as well as numerous cousins and many friends.

Pallbearers will be her family.

Memorials may be made to the Chelsea Olsen Benefit Account in care of Round Top State Bank in Giddings or to the charity of one’s choice.
