Eldon F. Schlarman, 64, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2005 at home following a long battle with cancer. He was born August 15, 1941 in Soldier, KS to Henry and Elizabeth Feldhaus Schlarman. Eldon married Donna Magnett on September 3,1969. She survives.

He served in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Eldon was a member of the American Legion Post #400 and VFW Post #1650. He worked in construction until his retirement in 1996.

Survivors include his wife Donna, son, Greg Schlarman, and wife Lacee, Topeka; daughter, Shelly McCart and husband Brian, Olathe, KS; grandchildren, Trent Schlarman, and Jake McCart, brother, Edwin Schlarman, Topeka; sister, Dorothy Kennedy, Wichita.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Elmer Schlarman.

Visitation will be held Friday, one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home. A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
