Peter R. Kramer of Delta died Thursday at Delta County Memorial Hospital. He was 77.
A Mass of Christian burial will be recited at 10 a.m. today at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Delta with the Rev. Nathanael Foshage officiating. Burial will be in Delta City Cemetery.
A rosary was recited Friday night at the church.
Mr. Kramer was a farmer and rancher in the Delta area all his life.
He was born April 21, 1914, to Andrew and Kathryn Schell Kramer in Delta. He spent his childhood in Delta and graduated from St. Michael's School.
Mr. Kramer married Rose M. Kinterknecht on July 3, 1934, in Delta. She survives.
He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Delta.
Mr. Kramer enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading and spending time with grandsons.
Other survivors include five daughters, Donna Fix, of Glenwood Springs, Yvonne Grimsley of Temple City, Calif., Trudi Worline of Carbondale, Petria German of Olathe, and Deborah Hurtzel of Montrose; a brother, Tom Kramer of Brighton; a sister, Ann Pratt of Grand Junction; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Three brothers and two sisters are deceased.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Michael's building fund in care of Roberts Funeral Home, 360 Howard, Delta 81416.
