Dennis Norbert Kral, 85, was called home to the Lord on June 7, 2019 in Mesquite, Texas. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a friend to all. He loved to make others laugh and smile, and gave the best hugs. He was also lovingly known as "Popo" by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dennis was born in West, Texas on October 28, 1933 to Frank and Elizabeth Kral. He began his education at Ross Elementary School, continuing on to West High School and then to Crozier Tech High in Dallas. In 1954, he joined the US Army. After returning home, he earned his GED and continued his education to become a machinist. He was employed by Recognition Equipment Inc. for 23 years, and later owned his own business, K's Machine Works, for several years.

In 1950, Dennis met Dolores Dudik, the love of his life, at a dance at the SPJST Hall in West, Texas. On October 10, 1953, they were married at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in West, and together they had seven children.

Dennis was a devout Catholic his whole life and served frequently in the church. He was a music leader for several years, served as an usher, and readily volunteered at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. He was also a dedicated member of St. Philip's Knights of Columbus. Since 1949, Dennis was a member of the KJT, where he also served as Vice President and President for over 10 years. He also worked over twenty-five years as a KJT Sales Representative, winning several awards and recognitions. When Dennis wasn't dedicating his time to his community, he enjoyed traveling with his wife Dolores. Their most memorable trips were to Czech festivals across the USA and a special trip to the Czech Republic. They also enjoyed many trips to Diamond Jacks in Louisiana with friends and family. His favorite pastimes included fishing, watching golf, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Elizabeth Kral; his brothers, Edwin and Alfonse Kral; his sisters, Annie Jurek, Irene Kaska, and Teresa Kral; his son-in-law, Dennis Pratt Sr.; and his grandson, Lawrence Mechell.

Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Dolores; sister Margaret Carlile; children Jane Holy and husband Bud, Joyce Mechell, Dennis Kral Jr and wife Patti, Mary Wavrusa and husband Johnny, Patricia Pratt, Cindy Pierce and significant other Daniel Holy, and Tim Kral. He is also survived by his twenty-six grandchildren, over thirty great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Kral, Nathan Kral, Nick Holy, Scott Mechell, Dennis Pratt, and Jacob Kral.
