Irma M. Reese, 64, of..., died Tuesday, Feb. 14, at her home. Memorial services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Trinity United Methodist Church's Gollaher Chapel. The Rev. Mrs. Reese was born Aug. 22, 1924, at West Point, the daughter of John and Helen Peterson Jahrmarkt. She received her education at Craig and graduated from Craig High School in 1942. She also attended Wayne State College and received a certificate in education there in 1943. On May 23, 1950, she married Walter W. Reese at Omaha. They lived in Omaha until 1967. She worked for Guaranty Mutual Insurance Co. and Mutual of Omaha while they lived there. In October 1967 they moved to Grand Island where she worked at Sears in the catalog sales department for 20 years, retiring last November. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and its Elizabeth Circle; Eagles Aerie No. 378's auxiliary, Stuhr Museum, and the Liederkranz auxiliary. She received a 100-year Pioneer Award in August 1978. While in Omaha she had been active member of the Bensonvale Covenant Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Clark of Grand Island; a grandson; and a sister, Mrs. Albin (Helen) Anderson of Elkhorn. She was preceded in death by her parents.
