Cerveny, Catherine 5/28/1921 - 7/6/2019 Allegan Catherine R. Cerveny of Allegan, age 98, passed away peacefully from natural causes on July 6, 2019, surrounded by her family. She met her husband, Charles Cerveny, in Chicago, Illinois, where they married in 1943 during WWII. After the war, they moved to Pullman where they raised their family. She lived a very blessed life, worked hard and enjoyed many wonderful travels and adventures. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her family, hosting family get-togethers, celebrations and holidays. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, one infant child, Coy, an infant grandchild, her brother and sister. She is survived by six children, Carol Earl of Allegan, Leroy (Norma) Cerveny, of Allegan, Kathleen Cerveny, of Annandale, Virginia, Charlene Cerveny and Al Brunner, of Allegan, Diana Cerveny, of Allegan, and Mary Cerveny and Dave Stedman, of Allegan; five grandchildren, Cindy Earl Caldarona, of Allegan, Scott (Carrie) Earl of Kalamazoo, Amy (Fred) Coonfer, of Kalamazoo, Amanda Priebe and Jason Keene, of Galesburg, and Sarah (Steve) Brokus Pels, of Grayling; and seven great grandchildren, Kirklynn, Jeffrey and Drake Caldarona, Lillian and Vivian Coonfer, and Michael and Christian Hulet. In accordance with her wishes, graveside services will be held at Pearl Cemetery on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 1:00 PM.
