W C Baird, 87, died at Ringling, Okla, Friday, July 17, after being in failing health several months. A retired carpenter, he lived in Dodson for many years and reared his family there. He left about 1940.
Survivors are eight children: S S Baird of Turlock, Calif; Victor Baird of Pittsburg, Calif; Kenneth Baird of Rio Vista, Calif; Mrs Claude Seymour of Vinson; Mrs Woodrow Biggons of Guymon, Okla; Mrs Pat Roberts of Canadian; Mrs Wayne Warthen of Ardmore, Okla; and Paul Baird of Duek, Okla. Mrs Baird died in January 1965 and two sons, Melvin Baird and Johnny Baird, also preceded him in death.
