On December 21, 1759, Nicholas Wolfahrt bought a tract of 129 acres, 101 perches and allowances from Melchior Hartrampff and his wife, Anne. The tract lay in the Marlborough Township just above Sorrel Horse Inn on the right hand side of the road from Green Lane to Trunbauersville. It consisted of two tracts for which warrents were give to Tobias Harrtramff, the father of Melchior in the year 1742. the patent was granted in 1754.
