Christopher Campana, 55; of 310 Manhattan Av., died suddenly on Sunday, September 9, 1945, at his home after a year's illness with a tumor. Death pronouncement was made by Dr. Vincent Murphy, police physician, at 8:10. He was the husband of Jennie (nee Spero) Campana.

In partnership with his son, Christopher Campana, Jr., Mr. Campana operated a trucking business in Jersey City for 30 years. Born in Italy, he came to Jersey City 40 years ago. He was a member of the Western Slope Democratic Club.

Besides his wife and son, Mr. Campana is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Anne McKenna, Miss Theresa Campana and Mrs. Mollie Bender. He was predeceased by his son, Thomas.
