Mrs. Emma Martin, 65, wife of Henry Martin, passed away Monday afternoon at the Sheboygan Memorial hospital.
She was born in Town Wilson on Sept. 27, 1887, the daughter of Wilhelm and Justine Adam, and was married to Henry Martin on Nov. 27, 1900, by Pastor L. G. Dorpat of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran church.
Mrs. Martin was a kind and loving wife and mother whose primary interests in life were her home and family. One of her greatest sources of pleasure in life was the companionship of her family and grandfather. During the summer, Mrs. Martin spent much of her leisure time in her garden. Her constant thoughtfulness of others endeared her to everyone.
Survivors are her husband; three sons, Henry, Levi and Earl, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Arno (Merrill) Rahn and the Misses Eloise and Beverly, at home; three grandchildren serving in the armed forces. A brother, William Adam, and a sister, Mrs. Henry (Bertha) Krueger, preceded her in death.
