Carole Sue Hart, 82, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018, at 7:29 a.m. at her residence.
Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 3, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ralph Ward of Hillsboro officiating. Burial will be in Wares Grove Cemetery in Butler.
Mrs. Hart was born March 9, 1936, in Borger, TX, the daughter of the late Robert L. and Eunice (Hodgkinson) Funk. She married James R. Hart on Oct. 24, 1958, in Hernando, MS, and he preceded her in death on June 11, 2010.
A 1954 graduate of Hillsboro High School, she lived in the Irving and Hillsboro areas most of her life.
She was the owner and operator of Hart's Grocery and County Seat Antiques. She was also a pre-K teacher in Coffeen and loved being around children.
Mrs. Hart was a member of the Montgomery County Historical Society, the Hillsboro Country Club and the Jaycees.
She is survived by her children, Beth Anne Hart of Lake Zurich and Dr. Eric Hart of Chicago; son-in-law, David Titsworth; seven grandchildren, Carrie Liebsher, Nichole Liebsher, Dylan Titsworth, Michael Hart, Desi Hart, Bianca Hart and Isaiah Hart; five great-grandchildren, Colin Liebsher, Kayden Liebsher, Chanse Liebsher, Reilley Owens and Delaney Owens; a brother, Michael C. (wife Marsha) Funk of Irving; and sister, Jan Spinner of Hillsboro.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Titsworth; one grandson, Levi Titsworth; and one great-grandchild, Ezekiel Owens.
Memorials may be made to the Hillsboro Educational Foundation.
