She was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church where she served on the board of Adult Ministries, a volunteer at Elderly United, was past president of New Frontier Democratic Women's Club which she also helped form and a member of the League of Women Voters and Truman-Kennedy Democratic Club. She enjoyed exercises, tap dancing, card playing and socializing with friends and neighbors.
Survivors include 1 son and spouse, Mark S. & Lori Oster, Springfield; 2 step-children and spouses, Robert & Linda Petticrew, Springfield and Mary Wagner, Austin, TX; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren: numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Dick Krichbaum.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ken Oster in 1974, her second husband, Clyde Petticrew in 2004, son, Keith Oster and sister Ivalu Kinstle.
Friends may call in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with Rev. Dwight McCormick officiating.
Burial will be in Willow View Cemetery, Dayton, OH. Memorial donations may be made to Community Mercy Hospice.
