Mrs. Frances W. App, 70, owner and operator of the Blossom Shop Florist, at 2218 Bardstown Road, died at 3:40 a.m. yesterday at Jewish Hospital. Mrs. App, of 1706 Deerwood, was the former Frances W. Wyatt. She was a past president of
both the Crescent Hill Woman's Club and the Highland Woman's
Club. She was a member of the Walnut Street Baptist Church,
Chapter 10 of the Daughters of America and a past matron of
the Order of Eastern Star's Naomi Chapter. Mrs. App was also
a member of the Advertising Club of Louisville and was selected as the Club's sweetheart in 1960. Survivors include
her husband; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Lear, and two brothers,
Charles Wyatt, of Montgomery, Alabama, and Harry Wyatt, of Jeffersonville, Indiana. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 4109 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40220. With burial in Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville,
Kentucky 40218. The body will be at the funeral home after
6:00 p.m. today.
