Samuel Bashore, 67 years old, a prominent Adams township farmer, died at his late home, one mile east of Gettysburg, at 4:10 a.m. today following a four week's illness from pneumonia, and complications. His immediate survivors include nine children, seven daughters and two sons; eight grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters. Mr. Bashore, a lifelong resident of the Gettysburg vicinity, was an active member of the I.O.O.F. lodge. Funeral services will be conducted from the Gettysburg Presbyterian church at two p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Grant of Seven Mile, O., officiating. Burial will be made at Pleasant Hill.
