She was born July 28, 1935 in Lupendorf, Germany and moved to America in 1963. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandma. She married Hellmut Bork.
She worked volunteering her time at the library at the LDS Genealogy Library for many, many years. She also was a mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren in their younger days. She shared a love of flowers with the love of her life Hellmut. I always said if I ever fall in love, I wanted a true love like my grandparents have; although times weren’t always easy, they could always count on each other. I know that they are now together for all eternity.
She is survived by her daughters, Sonja Bork and Monika Jones; many grandchildren; youngest grandchild and caretaker, Lacey Jumper; many great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; sister, Silvia; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
It was hard not to love my grandma. There was such a strong woman in that body, both in mind and spirit. I know exactly where I got my strength from.
Inge is preceded in death by her beloved Hellmut; son, Alfred Bork; siblings; parents; grandparents; and a grandchild.
A viewing will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 from 10:00-11:00 a.m., with a graveside service to follow at 11:00 a.m., at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West), Taylorsville.
