Services are Thursday at Faith Lutheran Church in Hastings with the Rev Carl H Rehwaldt officiating. Graveside services with military rites at Emmanuel Lutheran cemetery at Hildreth.
Mr Osterbuhr was born Dec 16, 1921 to John O and Tjede F "Katie" (Ubben) Osterbuhr in Hildreth. He attended school at Hildreth. He served in World War II from 1942-44 in Texas and the South Pacific. On Sept 15, 1945, he married Norma Siebrass at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Hill. They lived in Hastings. He was employed by Dutton Lainson Co for 42 years and retired in 1987.
He was a charter member of Faith Lutheran Church, serving on church boards and a member of Lutheran Laymen's League. He also was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans and American Legion.
