Married, Alfred Bernard "Ot" Gorman of Genoa, 1/7/28. Couple moved to Lincoln where Alfred began 35-year career with LT&T, ending as advertising manager at time of his death in 1964. Dedicated Red Cross volunteer since 1940s. Began work as nurse's aide, World War II, later named volunteer director of Office of Volunteers; served variety of positions, Lancaster County Chapter Board of Directors and Executive Committee; also traveled as chapter delegate to Red Cross national conventions. Awarded Harold Hill Humanitarian Award, 6/24/98, for decades of contribution to American Red Cross. Member, Chapter AI, PEO Sisterhood and O.E.S. Temple Chapter 271. Avid Nebraska football fan and bridge player.
