Nancy Ellen Reed Koetter, 84, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2019.
She was born February 22, 1935 in Prairie Grove, AR to Norman and Pauline Reed.

She grew up in Fayetteville and attended the University of Arkansas receiving a BA and MA in Education. Nancy married Roger Koetter, former owner of Rogers Rec on Dickson Street. She was a school teacher for the Fayetteville and Springdale School Districts. Nancy attended University Baptist Church in Fayetteville where she loved teaching Sunday school. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Nancy loved to work in her flower garden. She was a lifelong Razorback fan and she loved her dogs, Dixie and Cody.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; her mother and father; one brother, Steven Reed; and one sister, Mary Lynne Reed.

Nancy is survived by a daughter, Laura Koetter and husband, Doug of Livermore, CA; a son, Page Koetter of Fayetteville; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 11:30 AM Thursday, December 5, 2019 at University Baptist Church with Ryan Troglin and Pastor H.D. McCarty officiating. Interment will follow in the Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.
