Mrs. Cathrine Rastede died last Friday, November 24, at the home of her son, Gerhard. Death was primarily due to old age. The funeral was held Monday from the German Lutheran St. Paul's church, Rev. F. Wupper conducting the services. Deceased was born in Germany 83 years ago. She was one of the pioneers of this section of Dodge county, coming here some 35 years ago. Mrs. Rastede was a woman of sterling worth and enjoyed the highest respect of all she came in contact with.
