Greece: Tuesday, July 17, 2007. Born May 24, 1928, daughter of Elliott & Vera Knopp, predeceased. Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Entered into rest on July 17th in Greece, NY at age 79. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ormand F. Sigl; her children, William Sigl, Jerard Sigl, Andrew Sigl, Nancy Shufelt, Stephen Sigl, Sandra Sigl, Lisa King and Lori Meldrum. She is survived by sisters, a brother, her 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many friends.

Irene spent most of her adult life providing for, caring, raising, and loving her large family. She gave up so many things so that her family would have so much. She was the most perfect mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was loved by all and will be missed dearly.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 23rd from 1:30-2:30 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue where Services will immediately follow at 2:30. Interment at the convenience of the family To share a special memory, please visit:
