Harold Ervin Perronne, 95, of Sheboygan Falls went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 (his favorite holiday) at St. Nicholas Hospital.
He was born November 27, 1924 in the Town of Lima to the parents of Arthur and Josephine (Kroeplien) Perronne. Harold attended Ourtown School, Town of Lima and Sheboygan Falls High School. On April 24, 1948 he married Marilyn Ebeling at Trinity Lutheran Church, Howards Grove.
Harold was a proud dairy and grain farmer and took pride in being able to farm his father's farm. He was a master logger and also enjoyed working for his cousin, Emil Perronne.
He was a lifetime member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, Sheboygan Falls, where he held various positions. Harold enjoyed playing sheepshead with his friends at the Sheboygan Falls Senior Center and he was an avid dartball player for the St. Luke Colts.
Harold is survived by his four children, Barbara (Bill Stalter) Scholten of Oostburg, Patricia (Gary) Thede of Sheboygan Falls, John Perronne of Sheboygan Falls, and Daniel Perronne of Sheboygan Falls; 11 grandchildren, Michele (Ross) Rate, Deanne (Mark Goosen) Scholten-Larson, Joshua (Kady) Perronne, Jeremy Raml, Mark Scholten, Stewart (Jackie) Perronne, Jennifer Raml, Luke (Alison) Scholten, Brent (Michelle) Perronne, Krystal Thede, and Nathan Perronne; 16 great grandchildren: Amanda Fenner, Devin Walters, Erik (Tina) Walters, Lyndsay Fenner, Magnus Larson, Josephine Larson, Gunner Larson, Hallie Zellner, Claire Zellner, Oakley Weber, Paige Perronne, Madison Scholten, Claire Perronne, Brandie Scholten, Brooke Scholten and Bryce Scholten; and sister-in-law, Annette Klabunde of Waukesha.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn; parents, Arthur and Josephine; sister, Lora (Ken) Schmahl; and son-in-law Gary Scholten.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 6, 2020 at 6:00 pm at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Sheboygan Falls with the Rev. Elizabeth Jaeger officiating. Burial will be at the Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Monday, January 6, 2020 from 4:00 pm until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Harold's name for St. Luke Lutheran Church.
