Lavinia O. (Auldridge) Miller, 93, Norco, formerly of the Pattonsburg and Maysville. Mo., areas, died Friday, Jan. 24, 1997, at a health-care center in Indio, Calif. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and had taught school before her marriage. Born in Pattonsburg on Sept. 28, 1903, she moved to Norco 34 years ago. Mrs. Miller graduated from the Pattonsburg high school and attended Northwest Missouri State University at Maryville, Mo. She was a member of the Pattonsburg Christian Church. On July 19, 1921, she married Lloyd Miller in Independence, Kan. He died in 1973. Mrs. Miller also was preceded in death by her parents, James and Essie Auldridge; a sister, Elma Royston; and two brothers, George and Dell Auldridge. Surviving: two daughters, Juanita Hill, Nampa, Idaho, and B. Vivian Thompson, St. Joseph; a son, Paul Miller, Palm Desert, Calif.; two sisters, Rosalie Hepburn, Oroville, Calif., and Olive VanLear, Roswell, Ga.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Grave service and burial: 2 p.m. today, Pierce Bros. Crestlawn Mortuary and Memorial Park, Riverside, Calif.
