Dwane Oliver Adams, 79, of Lawson, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 28, 2020, in Liberty, MO.
Visitation will be Monday, February 3, 2020, from 4:30-6:00 pm at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Lawson, 412 N Raum St, Lawson, MO. A memorial service will be held following the visitation at 6:00 pm at Hidden Valley Funeral Home Of Lawson.
Dwane was born September 26, 1940 in Caldwell County Missouri. He is the son of the late Frank and the late Gertrude Luella (Wilson) Adams.
Dwane was a loving man who was full of life. He had many hobbies including woodworking, coin collecting, and talking on his CB radio into the wee hours of the night. Most notable of his hobbies was his woodworking abilities, he was famous for his marionette puppets. Dwane was awnry, when living in Oregon on a farm with his family, he’d often let the family goats loose in the house just to hear his wife scream! Dwane, after having disability back surgery, wasn’t able to go back to work and was forced to stay at home. Due to his new life as a stay at home father, he found that he thoroughly enjoyed it, especially making big egg breakfast for his children before school.
He is survived by one daughter: Alicia (Gary) Prewitt, one sister: Patricia Tibitt of Colorado, 9 Grandchildren, and 4 Great-grandchildren
Dwane was preceded in death by his Son, Dennis Adams, daughter, Melinda Clariday, and Son, John Adams.
