Laura Verena Sturgeon passed away in Sharon Regional Hospital following a brief illness.
Parents: George R. and Mary V. Glasgow Nagel.
Husband: Arthur W. Sturgeon. He passed away March 14, 2007.
She graduated from Lincoln High School. She participated in the family truck garden, orchard and curb market business for more than 40 years. She belonged to Portersville Presbyterian Church. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Her hobbies were cooking and baking. In her later years, she enjoyed traveling to visit her son in Alaska and daughter in Oregon and their families.
Relatives: two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Marcella Sturgeon and Tim and Kathy Sturgeon; a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and David Kamperman; eight grandchildren, Judd Sturgeon and Kirstie Ostberg, Paige Weatherman, Jason and Rachel Kamperman, and Thad, Wade and Blane Sturgeon; 16 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Edgar Nagel. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
