Johann Michael Roemer/Römer was born in the village of Buerkenau/Birkenau, Germany and married Charlotta Amalia Hartwich in 1736. They immigrated to America together in 1738 - "Year of The Destroying Angel".

He died peacefully on the 24th at 11 am, age 85y 2m 21d from the weakness of age, and was buried on the 25th.
