Lurlyn Elizabeth was the 2nd child of Thomas James McNulty, Sr. and Agnes Esther McLean. She was a librarian for the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Lurlyn married Norbert A. Herald and had one child: Mary Beth.

MADISON - Lurlyn E. Herald, formerly of 603 Charles Lane, died at the Nazareth House in Stoughton, on Sunday, October 9, 1988. She was born March 15, 1902, the daughter of Thomas
and Agnes McNulty, in Oconto, Wisconsin. Mrs. Herald worked for a number of years in the University of Wisconsin's Memorial Library Social Studies Department. She was also active as a volunteer in the St. Mary's and Madison General Auxiliaries. Her husband, Dr. Norbert A. Herald, proceeded her in death. Survivors include: a brother, John N. (Virginia) McNulty of Lemoore, California; a daughter, Mary Beth (Alfred) Dally of Madison; five grandchildren; and
numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at BLESSED SACRAMENT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2131 Rowley Avenue, at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 25, 1988. Reverend James Marchionda will officiate. A private interment service will take place in Oconto, Wisconsin. The JOYCE FUNERAL HOME, 5701 Odana Road, is in charge of arrangements.
