Robert H. Gassner, 57, of Route 1, Campbellsport, died Thursday morning, April 30, 1981, at St. Agnes Hospital.
Born Nov. 30, 1923, at LeRoy, he was a son of Henry and Barbara Scheberl Gassner. He married Anna Simon on Oct. 27, 1951, at St. Martin's Catholic Church, Ashford.
MR. Gassner farmed in LeRoy, moving to Ashford 25 years ago. He was employed by the West Bend Co., retiring four years ago. He was a member of St. Martin's Church at Ashford and Apostolate of Suffering.
Survivors include his wife; his mother of Mayville; three sons, Robert G. of West Bend, Thomas of Allenton and Daniel of Neenah; a brother, Francis of Mayville; and a sister, Mrs. George (Ruth) Penkoske of Mayville. His father, a son and a brother preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Martin's Church, Ashford. The Rev. George Etzel and the Rev. John Simon will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends of Mr. Gassner may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
