Linda Ruth Heitman Roberts, 57, a former Klamath Falls resident, died Dec. 22, 2003, of natural causes in Anchorage, Alaska. Specific cause of death was not given.

A memorial service will be Monday afternoon in Marengo, Iowa. Cremation has been held.

Mrs. Roberts was born Feb. 6, 1946, in Marengo to Ralph and Alma Heitman.

She moved to Klamath Falls in September of 1979 to raise her four children and became active in her religion, Jehovah's Witnesses.

She enjoyed embroidery, reading, musicals, singing, her grandchildren, and her religious faith.

Survivors include her mother Alma Heitman of Marengo; daughter Lorianna Hotz of Central Point; son and daughter-in-law James and Kristina Heitman of Klamath Falls, Jeffrey and Karen Hotz of Anchorage, and John W. and Pamela Hotz of Oxford, Iowa; grandchildren Billy, Kaitlyn, Josh and Kelsey; sisters Karen Bischof, Joan Hunt and Phyllis Bjork; sisters and brothers-in-law Alice and Lee White, and Zelda and Dick Sherman; brother Wayne Heitman; and brother and sister-in-law Raymond and Alice Heitman.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Heitman; brother John D. Heitman; and husband Dennis Roberts.
