According to Marsha's copy of the cemetery transcription Barber is buried on 52...24. The other Allens buried here include: Mary, Nelson, Nelson. I think Mary is his wife, one of the Nelsons is a son.According to a cousin Barber's children included: Daniel (1805-1872), Nelson, Arthusa, Betsey Ann, Sally, Margarette, Pantha Almina, Maria, Eunice, Almedy Adeline, and Judson Write. There is a possibility Barber was married more than once.
I also would like to thank Florence Banks, who originally posted Barber Allen back in 2001, and for her offer for me to take over the memorial. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have known where Barber Allen, my husband's gr-gr-gr-gr-grandfather.
Also, Marsha took the picture, and has given me information on the family. Both of these women are incredible!
