Mrs. Rose Mader, 69, 3610 Meriden Road, died Saturday at a Topeka hospital.
She was born Sept. 5, 1913 at Topeka, the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Scheve Shields.
Mrs. Mader was a member of Assumption Catholic Church and Ladles of the Moose. Lodge No. 555, both at Topeka.
She married George Eugene Mader Oct. 30, 1937, at Topeka. He died Sept. 6, 1970.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Whalen, 5300 Lancaster Place, Mrs. Betty Banfield, 4104 Emland, and Mrs. Florence Patterson, Pittsburg.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am. Monday at Assumption Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Topeka. Mrs. Mader will lie in state from 2 101 p.m. Sunday at Brennan Funeral Home where a parish rosary will be recited.
