He was member of the Sacred Heart League, a member of the ed Heart League, a member of the Retired Teachers Assn. and served with the REA for 26 years in Socorro.
He is survived by his wife, Cipriana "Cipry" (Chavez) Cordova of La Joya: three sons: Rutilo "Rudy" Cordova (1923-1995) and Vicente “Vincent” Cordova, both of Albuquerque, and Melvin Arnoldo Cordova (1926-2020) of Cuba, NM; one daughter, Levelia Elin (Victor) Jaramillo of Abeytas; 23 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Salomon Griego of Las Nutrias and Mrs Esiquel Carrillo of Albuquerque and a brother, A. B. Cordova of La Joya.
Interment was in the La Joya Catholic Cemetery.
PalIbearers were: Paul Griego, Ruben Cordova, Mike Griego, Dennis Cordova, Paul Cordova, and Ray Cordova.
The grandsons acted as honorary pallbearers.
