Mrs. Elizabeth May Hahn, 74, of 200
S. Second St., Woodsboro, died at her
home Saturday, June 18, after an illness
of four months. She was the wife of
Charles Hamilton Hahn who
predeceased her in 1981.
Born July 18, 1913, in Woodsboro,
where she was a lifelong resident, she
was a daughter of the late Carl Abraham
and Maude Emogene Ramsburg
Boller.
Mrs. Hahn was a charter member of the
Ladies Auxiliary to the Woodsboro Fire
Company where she served as assistant
treasurer for 32 years. She was formerly
employed with the Shriner
Manufacturing Company for 34 years,
retiring in 1979.
Surviving are two daughters and a
son-in-law, Dr. Dolores H. Bachtel of
Rockville, and Nancy O. and Donald C.
Smith of Frederick; three grandchildren
and spouses, J. Wesley and A.
Kay Baugher Jr. of Frederick, Oueida
Y. and Jerry M. Crum of Woodsboro,
David A. and Shelley D. Bachtel of
Pembroke Pines, Fla.; three greatgrandchildren,
Natasha R. Baugher,
Travis M. Crum, and Brandon M.
Baugher; one sister and husband,
Pauline J. and Donald W. Biddinger of
Woodsboro; one brother and wife, Carl
A. and Virginia H. Boller Jr. of
Moraga, Calif., and a number of nieces
and nephews. She was predeceased by a
brother, Maurice E. Boller.
