Scotland (Special) -- Mrs. Frieda Planck Clarke, 69, wife of Dr. Hans T. Clarke of New Haven and Scotland, and mother of two other doctors, died suddenly at her summer home on Kourie Road here Tuesday morning.
She was born Nov. 21, 1890 in Munich, Germany, the daughter of Adelbert and Johanna Baur Planck. Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Dr. Eric T. Clarke and Dr. John T. Clarke of Lexington, Mass.; two daughters Mrs. Rebecca Andronik of Washington, D.C. and Mrs. Heidi Richards of Martha's Vineyard, Mass.; nine grandchildren and two sisters, in Germany and Argentina.
Cremation will take place at Springfield, Mass., at the convenience of the family. The Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic, is in charge of arrangements.
