Norvill Dennis Hood, age 75, of Bolivar, Mo., passed away Sunday, September 2, 2007, in Cox South Medical Center, Springfield. He is survived by his wife, Beverly, of the home; daughter Denise and her husband, Ralph Weeks, of Bolivar; son Michael and his wife, Rebecca Hood, of Iowa; granddaughters, Sherry and her husband, Mark Potts, of Goodson, Mo., Sheila Austin of Salina, Kan., and Jenna Connor of Bolivar, Mo.; grandson Joey Connor of Bolivar; sister Timmie Juchemicha of Caballo, N.M.; brother Mick and his wife, Connie Hood, of Bolivar. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 6, 2007, in Pitts Chapel, Bolivar. Burial will follow in the Star Ridge Cemetery, Goodson.
