Ruth J. Brinkman, 80, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on December 21, 1934 to Ferdinand and Bertha (Buska) Viertel in Galloway, WI. She attended Galloway and Wittenberg schools. She married Eugene Brinkman on January 26, 1952. He precedes her in death on April 30, 1993. She worked at St. Mary's hospital and Aspirus Wausau Hospital as an Obstetric Technician, CNA, and Unit Clerk. She enjoyed reading, music, theater, traveling, and family gatherings.
She is survived by her children...
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Adolph, Vernon and Robert, two sisters; Lorraine Zaborowski and Ardale Karschney.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to St. Therese Catholic Church or Catholic Charities Warming Center.
Visitation will be on March 3, 2015 at St. Therese Catholic Church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 with Father Robert Streveler officiating. John J. Buettgen Funeral Home is assisting family at this time.
