Great Falls —DeLima (Dee) Kendall took her last best nap and passed away peacefully Thursday, February 10 in Helena, just days from her 105th birthday. She was born at home in Crary, North Dakota on February 24, 1912. Dee graduated from Crary High School and Valley City North Dakota Teachers College, going on to teach school first in a one room school in rural North Dakota then Wyoming and her beloved Montana. After two memorable summers working in Yellowstone Park she married John Kendall in Powell, Wyoming. Their union lasted 49 happy years until his death in 1989.

Surviving are daughters Bernadette (Jack, deceased) of Bellingham, WA and Cathy (Dick) of Helena, MT; two much loved grandsons Jon (Carol) and Andrew (Kimberly) plus five great grands: Hannah, Mia, Kendall, Cameron and Natalie Stromberg.

Dee especially loved her friends and family, all the Nardinger cousins, her good friends Ethel Parker, Patty Howse, Connie and Vince Kromarek and her special god-child Leslie.

Notable thanks for the gracious care provided by the staff at Aspen Gardens in Helena. They are the best.

She loved and was loved.

Services will be held in Great Falls at a later date.
