BIELERT, Clara Mae - Of Clio, age 88, died Friday, August 10, 2007 at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Funeral services will be 11AM Tuesday August 14, 2007 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 520 Butler St., Clio, Pastor Erik Cloeter officiating. Burial will be at the Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the church on Sunday and Monday from 1-4 and 6-8PM. Contributions may be made to U of M Childrens' Cancer Care Center for a teddy bear fund, or to the church. Clara was born in Flint on June 20, 1919. Clara and her husband ran the "Chandelier Guest House" winning awards for their hospitality. She was most proud of her self-published poetry book a "Sip of Tea" and her memoirs "Peeking Through the Holes." Surviving are: daughter, Pat Arendt of Clio; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Farley of Flint. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Beilert and a son, Paul Quibell.
