STURTEVANT - Ivan Gladstone Henderson, 80, died Saturday, 12 June 2004, at Memorial Hospital of Burlington.
He was born 12 September 1923, in Lafayette Township in Walworth County, to Robert and Clara (nee Hensel) Henderson.
He spent his early life in Walworth County and was graduated from Rochester Ag School.
He married Jeanette Lauber on 7 October 1944. She preceded him in death on 21 January 1993.
On 3 December 1993, he married Malinda C. (nee: Tetting) Mueller at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Union Grove. Following marriage they lived in Sturtevant.
Ivan was a dairy and seed farmer and a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. For 31 years he served on the board of the Yorkville and Mt. Pleasant Insurance Company.
He enjoyed golfing and bingo and he loved to garden.
Survivors include his wife, 5 sons, 2 daughters, 1 step-daughter, 21 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, son James Henderson, daughter Sue Ellen Henderson, 1 brother and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 16 June 2004, at 10:00AM at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Union Grove, with the Rev. David G. Peters officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in Racine.
Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, June 15th, from 5 - 8PM at Polnasek-Daniels Funeral Home and also on Wednesday, June 16th, from 9 - 10AM at the Church.
Memorials have been suggested to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.
