Mrs. Metscher Dies at Fremont

Mrs. Emilie Clara Metscher, 86, died Friday evening at her home at 615 E. Third St. She had been ill two years.

The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Senftleben, she was born Aug. 12, 1866, in Backle Schlsien, Germany. She was married to Martin Metscher in Berlin in April, 1899. They lived in Berlin four years before coming to the United States and settling in Fremont.

Mr. Metscher preceded his wife in death Jan. 19, 1926.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Fuhrer of Fremont; one granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews in Germany. Six brothers preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of the Lawson Funeral Home. The Rev. Frederick Boldt will officiate.

Interment will be in Ridge Cemetery.
