Passed away at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, September 17, 2020. He was born in Oshkosh on November 19, 1929 the son of the late Robert and Beatrice (Streich) Harmon Sr. On September 7, 1963 he married Darlene Hampton. She preceded him in death in 2008. Bob was proud to serve in the U.S. Air Force and served as a plane mechanic in Okinawa during the Korean Conflict. He then graduated from U.W. Oshkosh with his liberal arts degree. During his younger years, Bob worked as a crop duster, earning the name of “Crash.” He enjoyed the Packers, Brewers, hunting, fishing, golf, time at his cottage, cutting his grass and being a regular at Hardees. Bob was a fast pitch softball pitcher up until the age of 65, and was inducted into the Fast Pitch Hall of Fame in 2001. Many knew Bob for his many years of being an independent insurance agent at Harmon Agency. Bob will be remembered for his extreme generosity.

Bob is survived by his daughter: Robin (Bob) Heinemann and Kelly (Jeremy) Steel; grandchildren: Morgan Mueske, Mandy Mueske, Molly Helms and Erin Helms; cousin and companion, Dan (Judy) Harmon, and many loving friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene; and his parents.
