George Thomas Dalton was born in Jefferson County, Kentucky the son of Dr. Valentine Thomas and Sarah Hoke Dalton. He married Caroline Frances Russell August 31 1855 in Orange County Paoli, Indiana.
They had 15 children John Samuel, William Thomas, Sarah Catherine, James Edward, Mary Jane, George Prementer, Emma Frances, Pauline Elizebeth, Lillie Ann, Homer Leonard, Ludwell Franklin, Frannie Bell, Lou Terissa, Mettie May, and Corutney Humes,
George was living in Taylor Township, Owen County, Quincy, Indiana when he died.
He was married to Rachel Arouspigar October 15, 1894 in Owen County, Indiana
