PAUL GERARD ANGELINI, 30, of Bondorf, Germany, and LONG BRANCH, passed away Thursday, Sept. 7. Paul was born in New York City and was the son of the late Alfred V. Angelini and Diane Coyle Angelini. He grew up in Randolph and studied electronic and computer engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and the Stevens Institute of Technology. Paul was employed by the U.S. Department of Defense and worked at Fort Monmouth; WTD-81 in Greding, Germany, and was most recently assigned to the European Command in Stuttgart, Germany. Paul died unexpectedly at Universitatsklinikum in Tubingen, Germany, from liver failure caused by thrombosis.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Kathrin Mader of Bondorf; Kathrin's daughters, Elena and Anika Mader; his mother, Diane of New Jersey; a sister, Carolyn Angelini; a brother-in-law, Josh Weiss; and his nephews, Jaxon J. and Carter Weiss of Pennsylvania; his cousins, Justin Kelly of New Jersey, and Megan Kelly of New York; and an uncle, Manny Toribio of New York.

Memorial services and Mass were held Monday, Sept. 10, at Patch Chapel, Stuttgart. Visitation will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today at Braun Funeral Home, 106 Broad St., Eatontown. Burial will take place Monday, Sept. 17, at Gate of Heaven, Hawthorne, N.Y. Letters of condolences may be sent to www.sidun.com.
