Loving mother of JeanMarie (Lewis) Harmon, Mary Lundeen, Stephanie Arend, Fran (Emmett) Esmond, Robert (Christine) and Christopher (Sherrie). Further survived by 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 7 sisters, 4 brothers, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, July 24, 2010, at 1 PM, at St. Josaphat Basilica (2333 S. 6th St., Milwaukee). Evie asked that donations be made in her memory to Alverno College.

She was born August 2, 1932, in Unity, the second of thirteen children of Harry and Viola (Leonard) Untiedt. Evelyn married Clemence Arned on July 25, 1953. She worked at several places, including Shusters, Gimbels, a crisis hotline and Alverno College. Her hobbies included sewing, pottery, painting, cake decorating, cooking and gardening, She enjoyed traveling and meeting new people. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 1 p.m. at St. Josaphat Basilica in Milwaukee.
