(Evergreen Cemetery Obituary Obituary - Eugene Adams was born November 10, 1928, and went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2020. He lived a life of service to the Lord and his community. He served many years as a Deacon, Treasurer, and Sunday School teacher during his 61 years as a member of Morgan Mill Baptist Church. He was a charter member of the Morgan Mill VFD. He served on the Morgan Mill School Board for several years. His working years were spent farming and raising cattle. He semi-retired and worked many projects with the Texas Baptist Men Retired Builders Group. He was the lead carpenter on several church remodels and parsonage expansion.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Iris Adams, brothers, Buford Adams and Don Adams, sisters, Frankie Walsh and Myrna Hendrick, and two sons, Randy Adams and Steven Adams.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Adams of Bluff Dale, Texas; his children, Pam Fry of Murphy, Texas, and Greg Adams of Omaha, Nebraska; grandchildren, Brendon Fry and wife, Sarah, of Frisco, Texas, and Jonathan Fry of Murphy, Texas; and one great-grandchild, Mia Fry of Frisco, Texas.
