Of Irondale, Missouri was born on July 22, 1963 in Farmington, Missouri, a daughter to Laveda (Winick) Wells and the late Orville Wells. Cathy departed this life on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 having reached the age of 57.
In addition to her father, Cathy was preceded in death by her beloved son, Jake Marler III on May 14, 2014.
Those who remain to mourn her passing and cherish her memory include her daughter Samantha Marler-Tedford and husband Richard; grandson William “Liam” Marler-Tedford; mother Laveda Politte; three sisters: Beverly Curry and husband Scott, Mary York and husband Steve, and Patricia Roland. Cathy is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends who will miss her.
Cathy loved the Lord. She had a passion for traveling to other countries to do mission work. From building places of shelter to loving on the people, she enjoyed every part. Cathy was never afraid to get dirty from working hard. She loved her family very much and loved every moment she spent with them.
