Annie Lee Willis Richey was the third oldest of ten children born to her parents, Abraham Willis and Nettie Sue Hoyle Willis of Lincoln Co., NC. She was married to Alfred Fred Richey. They were the parents of the following children:
1. Rita Richey Wall (Davis Wall), Charlotte, NC;
2. Julia Richey Rhoney (Darrell Rhoney), Vale, NC; and
3. Jill Richey Black, Shelby, NC.
She was also survived by five grandchildren: Frederick Wall, Ansley Black, Amanda Cook and husband Scottie, Tracy Cline and husband Jeff, and Jill Walker and husband Matt; four great grandchildren: Avery Cook, Lindsey Cook, Kyle Walker and Bethany Walker and numerous nephews and nieces.
Her siblings were:
