Mark Edward Wakefield, 58, of Spring Hill, FL passed away July 26, 2020 at HPH Hospice in Brooksville, FL. He was born in Lansing, MI on September 16, 1961, to the late Alvin and Nancy (Schroeder) Wakefield. He arrived in this area in 1974, coming from Michigan. Mark was a painter in the construction industry and a Christian by faith. He was every bodies friend. Mark enjoyed yard work, and going to car shows. He loved his pickup truck and enjoyed watching wrestling. Mark was very neat and clean, and had a great sense of humor. He was preceded in death by one sister Kimberly Lynn Wakefield. Survivors include his sons Joshua Wakefield and Andrew Wakefield and their mother Andrea Mitterer of Destin, FL, and Jason Loria of Michigan; grandchild Kelsy Loria; brothers Alan Scott (Robin) Wakefield of Graceville, FL, and Alvin Paul (Patricia) Wakefield of Inverness, FL; and sisters Julie (Greg) Adams of Brooksville, and Lisa (Todd) Goetz of Brooksville, and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 3:30 P.M. at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness; FL. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home at 2:30 P.M. until time of service. Mark will be laid to rest at Hills of Rest Cemetery, Floral City, FL after the services.
