Vera is the daughter of Frank & Mary Ann Lazarowicz. She was born in Aplena in June 1905. She was the 6th of 10 children. Vera married Robert Shetterly in Detroit in February 1925. She had two children with him before they divorced in August 1935. Three month after her divorce she married German immigrant Louis F. Parker in Detroit.
Louis died in 1975 and less than one year later Vera passed away in Royal Oak. She died in October 1976 a the age of 71. Vera is buried with her husband in Mt Olivet Cemetery.
