CAMBRIDGE CITY- Juanita Rose McQueen, 50, passed away Friday afternoon December 4, 2020 at her home in Cambridge City after a lengthy illness.

Juanita was born in Connersville, Indiana on August 26, 1970.

She lived most of her life in the Cambridge City/Western Wayne community and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1988. Juanita was employed for several years doing secretarial work for Bob Tyner and Ken Rody. She was also employed in the cafeteria at Earlham College and liked to babysit. Juanita was a member of the Centerville Christian Church. She enjoyed attending services there and helping with dinners and other church functions.

Survivors include, her mother, Wanda F. (Nash) Baker of Cambridge City; 2 sisters, Patricia Foster of Lexington, KY and Michelle Baker of Holiday, FL; aunts, Della Riggs and Laurel Nash; uncle, Jerry Sturgis; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Juanita was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth “Neil” Baker on March 2, 2007; her grandparents; several aunts and uncles.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday December 9, 2020 at West Side Cemetery in Milton. Pastor Wes Sewell will officiate.
